Toyota Glanza Facelift Launched At ₹7 Lakh With New Features
2026 Toyota Glanza facelift launched at ₹6.99 lakh with a new petrol engine, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, wireless charging and CNG AMT option.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the 2026 Glanza facelift in India, with prices starting at ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated premium hatchback gets revised front styling, additional comfort features, Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine.
The new Glanza also introduces an automated manual transmission (AMT) option with the CNG powertrain. Bookings are scheduled to open on October 15, 2026, for a token amount of ₹11,000, while deliveries are expected to begin in the first week of November.
The Glanza continues to share its platform and much of its mechanical setup with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, while retaining Toyota-specific styling, equipment, and after-sales support.
2026 Toyota Glanza Price And Variants
The updated Glanza is available in five variants: E, S, G, V and V (O). Prices range from ₹6.99 lakh for the entry-level E variant to ₹10.49 lakh for the top-spec V (O) trim.
The final price of each configuration will depend on the selected variant, engine and transmission. Buyers should check the variant-wise equipment list before making a decision.
Toyota Glanza Facelift Gets Updated Design
The most noticeable changes are concentrated at the front. The facelifted Glanza gets a larger grille with a broad chrome accent, a revised lower grille and a sportier front bumper. The side profile retains its familiar shape, with redesigned side skirts adding a subtle visual update.
The hatchback continues with LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights and automatic headlamps with welcome-home lighting. At the rear, it retains the overall design, including LED combination lamps and a rear window wiper.
The alloy wheels have been carried over, making the update primarily a front-end styling revision rather than a complete exterior redesign.
Toyota will offer the new Glanza in seven exterior colours: Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, Insta Blue, Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green. Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green are the new additions.
New 1.2-Litre Petrol Engine And CNG AMT
The 2026 Glanza replaces its outgoing four-cylinder petrol engine with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E unit. It produces 83PS and 112.4Nm of torque, compared with 90PS and 113Nm from the previous engine.
The new engine gets an idle start-stop function designed to reduce fuel consumption when the vehicle is stationary. Toyota claims fuel efficiency figures of 23.80kmpl for the five-speed manual version and 24.77kmpl for the five-speed AMT.
The CNG version uses the same three-cylinder engine architecture but produces 70PS and 101.8Nm of torque. The major addition is the availability of an AMT with the CNG powertrain, giving buyers an alternative to a manual gearbox.
The petrol and CNG versions are aimed at different requirements, with the petrol models offering a choice of manual and automated manual transmissions and the CNG variants targeting buyers looking to reduce everyday running costs. Actual fuel economy will depend on traffic, road conditions and driving style.
Interior And Features
The cabin retains the existing dashboard layout, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a coloured multi-information display. The facelift focuses on adding convenience and comfort equipment rather than introducing a completely new interior.
New additions include ventilated front seats and wireless smartphone charging with a cooling function. Other features include automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a head-up display, and cruise control.
The equipment list also includes tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, a height-adjustable driver's seat, steering-mounted controls, keyless entry, push-button start and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat. The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Toyota's i-Connect connected-car platform offers functions such as remote locking and unlocking, vehicle health monitoring, safety alerts, geofencing and service-related updates. Feature availability will vary by variant.
Toyota Glanza Gets Level 2 ADAS
One of the major additions to the facelifted Glanza is Level 2 ADAS. The driver-assistance package includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, lane-departure prevention, autonomous emergency braking, and high-beam assist.
These systems can help drivers in certain situations but do not replace attentive driving. Their performance may also depend on road markings, traffic and environmental conditions.
Other safety features include six airbags, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, vehicle stability control, hill-hold control, tyre pressure monitoring, a 360-degree camera and rear parking sensors.
The Glanza also gets ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, seatbelt reminders and three-point seatbelts for all occupants. Buyers should check the final variant-wise safety specifications before booking.
Toyota Glanza Warranty And Ownership Benefits
Toyota offers a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000km, whichever comes first. Customers can extend the coverage to five years or 2,20,000km.
Additional ownership provisions include 60-minute Express Maintenance, service appointment booking and 24x7 roadside assistance. Financing options will be available through Toyota Financial Services and other financial institutions.
Toyota Glanza Facelift Rivals
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno remains the Glanza's closest rival, as both hatchbacks share the same platform and much of the same engineering. The Baleno has a lower starting price, while the Glanza stands out with Toyota's design details, equipment package, and dealer network.
Other key competitors include the Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz. Their appeal varies according to pricing, engine options, features and safety equipment.
The 2026 Glanza's main updates include the three-cylinder petrol engine, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, wireless charging and the new CNG AMT option. However, its petrol engine produces less peak power than the outgoing four-cylinder unit, which buyers may want to consider alongside Toyota's claimed fuel-efficiency improvements.
With prices starting at ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Glanza continues to compete in India's premium hatchback segment with a stronger focus on driver assistance, comfort and transmission choice.
